Assignment 13 : Autobiography

-----The time I was the happiest is when I was in twenties. Maybe most people think like me. I was born in Seoul in 1972. I have one elder sister and two younger sisters. There is no brother in my family. My parents hoped to have a boy, but they had only daughters. They regarded me as a son. I don’t know the reason. Anyhow I got a good grade in high school, so they believed me to pass the examination. The result is failure. They and I was very disappointed and I tried again the next year. I met my husband in academic school in 1991. In 1992 I was 20 years old and I entered university. I was happy to do anything. I met many people and talked about many things. I traveled with friends for the first time. It was very interesting experience. I joined the reading circle in university. We read books and talked about the stories and thought. I could do what I wanted and liked to do. In 1996 I graduated from university and I could not decide whether to study more or get a job. In the summer of 1996, I decided to work for Asiana Airlines. In my twenties, I met my husband and got marred. I experienced various things, so I felt happy.

Assignment 12 : How to study English

-----There are several ways to study English. One thing is to read newspaper or books in English everyday. To write diary in English is a good way to study English. It is also useful to listen to CNN news or watch dramas or see movies in English. Above all things, it is important to find good teacher. She or he can tell you how to study English and correct errors.

Assignment 11 : Thinking about uniforms

-----In my opinion, high school students should not have to wear uniforms. First of all, they can be more creative that they choose which one they want to wear. Secondly they waste time and efforts to keep other clothes. For example, many students wear uniforms when they go to school but they change to wear other clothes when they go out school. Finally to wear uniforms is to ignore the student’s characters. They have the right to choose clothes they want to wear. If they do not wear uniforms, they can learn how to wear as to T.P.O -time, place, occasion. Therefore I think high school students should not have to wear uniforms.

Assignment 10 : Last christmas

-----On the last Christmas I had a special appointment with my sisters. We planned a Christmas party. I left there a little early because I wanted to buy something I gave them. We made a reservation for a restaurant at 7 p.m. and I departed at 5:30 p.m. There was a traffic jam and I was struck in a traffic jam. It takes an hour if there is no traffic jam, but it took three hours. In the event I didn’t buy anything and I was late. I don’t want to spend time on the road this Christmas.

Assignment 9 : The most interesting trip

-----Five years ago I went to Paris with my husband. It was very interesting. There were many things to see, architectures, museums and old castles. On the first day of the trip we went to board a small boat at night. The boat came across the Seine-river. It was on July but very cold. Somebody wore a sweater and somebody wore a leather jacket. We wore only t-shirts and trembled with a cold. When the boat passed by the bridge (I did not remember which the bridge was), somebody made water on the bridge. Fortunately we did not wet, but we did not want to board a boat again. We experienced embarrassing things but Paris was interesting place.

Assignment 8: How to pack for a weekend trip

-----Get out a backpack. Put two t-shirts, pants, socks and one sweater in the backpack. Next put a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and a towel. Don't forget to put the medicine for emergency. Put glasses in the backpack if you wear contact lenses. Finally put a bottle of water and two or three chocolate bars in the backpack. Let's start to pack for a weekend trip now.

Assignment 7 : My living room

-----My living room is not large but goodlooking. When you enter my living room, you can see the rack made of wood in front of sofa. I displayed ceramic wares and flower on the rack. There is a small TV on the cornor of the living room. I put on the stero including CD player above the TV beside the rack. There is a small but cozy couch on the other side of the rack. The couch is zen-style furniture and goodlooking for me. The rack and couch harmonize with my living room.
